OVAM: 3D model of the Horse's foot

The aim of this project was to construct an application for the Online Veterinary Anatomy Museum (OVAM) able to display an interactive anatomical model of the equine foot in 3d, with additional OVAM content generated on-demand. The resulting asset would be made available online, widely available on a range of computers and completely free.

The model you will see is the distal portion of an equine limb, generated from actual medical images provided by the Equine Diagnostics Departments at the Royal Veterinary College. Among the resources available for users to explore in this interface include material from publishers, universities and the WikiVet website.
